Sony’s MDR-NC300D digital noise canceling earbuds use the same technology found in Sony’s top of the line, and very much respected, MDR-NC500D over the ear headphones, and at $300 these earbuds ain’t cheap but they might actually be worth it.

Sony claims these earbuds have 98.4 percent ambient noise reduction, which is the result of their digital high-quality noise canceling technology. Using the same AI feature found in the over the ear bigger brother, the earbuds will have three noise canceling settings geared for plane, bus/train and office. The earbuds are powered by one AA batter with an approximate 20 hours of batter life and feature volume control and monitor button on the battery holder / controller.

The MDR-NC300D will be available next month for a whopping $300, but seeing how good their over the ear MDR-NC500D are for frequent flayers, these earbuds might be the right buy. For the right person that is…

Phone Arena’s got leaked specs for Verizon’s Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus. There’s not much being revealed for Verizon’s Web OS Phones other than the Pre getting 16gb storage and the Pixi getting WiFi. [Phone Arena via Engadget]

Once you’re at Gizmodo.com, just go to the comment box where it says “Got a tip for us?”, write your tip — and then click the share button. Remember to include #tips to make sure your note shows up on the tips page.

So what kind of tips do we like to see? To tell the truth, It really doesn’t matter how big or small the tip might be, just as long as it’s something interesting or newsy. Obviously our favorite kinds of tips have stuff like spy shots and info of a new unseen gadget, but that’s not the only thing we’re looking for.

For example commenter kjoost used the #tips to share The Most Powerful Desktop PC-Sized Supercomputer with us. As you can see, sharing a tip with Gizmodo has never been easier. So if you have a juicy bit of news for us or just want to show us an interesting piece of tech please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Hashtags:
If you haven’t noticed we use hashtages at Gizmodo for all of our tagging needs. This is important to you because it means anyone can create their own hashtag for just about anything. We showed you above how to use the #tips hashtag to send us a tip, but you’re not limited to using only this hashtag.

We already explained how to use #whitenoise to talk amongst yourselves, but say you wanted to start up a discussion on your favorite gadget? Then at bottom of your comment type in something like #favgadget. Or maybe you want to send us a letter of suggestion or complaint, you could use #letters. We are looking for someone who will take full control of our comment system and only use the power for good, not evil. It is easy work, but extremely important, so we’re gonna pay you. But only a bit. UPDATE.

We are looking for someone who can handle our comment management system, which usually takes an hour or less a day. You will be reading through all new member comments, determining if the commenter has what it takes to be approved for Gizmodo.

The work isn’t necessarily hard but it is extremely important. We need a responsible person that is able to manage this every day and will not flake out on the responsibility.

Doesn’t matter where you’re located, how old you are, or what you look like, we just need a level-headed, dependable person who enjoys reading Gizmodo and would be able to determine a good comment.

You will be paid $100 a month to start, and if you do well we will give you slightly more responsibility and double the pay.

Grammy nominated DJ/Producer Morgan Page will be playing the Zune party at Snowmodo this Saturday at Northstar-at-Tahoe. Not enough to excite you? How about custom Snowmodo Zunes or our Official Snowmodo Soundtrack…

Zune is throwing an epic party for our Snowmodo event on Saturday April 4th at Northstar. They’ve lined up Grammy nominated Morgan Page to play some music and there will also be food and drinks available for all of our attendees. Zune has also made custom Snowmodo Zunes just for our event , which we’ll be giving out as prizes in our raffle!

Zune Party Details
Where: TC’s Pub in Northstar’s Village. The pub is located right next our event room. For location details please refer to Northstar’s site. [LINK]
When: Party starts at 3 pm with Morgan Page starting his set around 3:30 pm.
How To Get In: Only Snowmodo attendees who have Snowmodo wristbands will be allowed in. That means you’ll have to stop by our event room at-least once during the day to pay the $5 admission fee and receive a wristband and raffle tickets.

Most of these songs will be pre-loaded on the demo Zunes available at our event.
